Hello! I'm Cortlandt Schoonover, a software engineer based in New Orleans. Currently I lead a development team at the Louisana Office of Public Health. (Please note that this is my personal site, and doesn't represent the views of my employer.) Our team creates and maintains web applications that are critical for tracking infectious diseases and protecting health across the state.

As a new parent, I have much less free time than the past, but I've enjoyed being an interloper in the New Orleans music scene. Mostly that means being a listener or audience member, but in the past I was a guitarist, violinist, and vocalist for a band called Other Aunts and Uncles. I also collaborated on an interactive art piece that was shown at Antenna Gallery, and I'm open to that kind of work again. Artists: reach out!
